Day 01 Munich
Arrive Munich and transfer to your hotel. Sprawling Munich (Munchen), home to some 1.5 million people, is the capital of
Bavaria and one of Germany's major cultural centers. It is also one of Germany's most festive cities, and its location, at
the foot of the Alps, is idyllic. Take the time to stroll through its fabulous parks or relax in one of the numerous beer
gardens which dot the city. Overnight in Munich.
Day 02 Munich
Enjoy a city tour of Munich which includes the main sights and sounds of this bustling city. Visit Nymphenburg Castle, the
baroque palace which was once the summer residence of the Bavarian monarchs. Explore the Olympia Stadium and Allianz Arena,
located in the north of Munich and the futuristically designed football stadium. Munich’s historical city centre of
Hofbraeuhaus with the world's most famous beer hall is very popular among tourists and locals. Overnight in Munich.
Day 03 Munich - Frankfurt
Today you take a high speed Intercity Express train from Munich to Frankfurt. Arrive Frankfurt in 3.5hours and transfer to
your hotel. Dubbed "Mainhattan" for its skyscrapers, Frankfurt is Germany's financial centre. The half-timbered houses of
the Römerberg form its historic heart. Cultural treasures fill galleries and museums in grand 19th-century houses along the
Museumsufer embankment. Spend time exploring this throbbing city or take an excursion to the spa town of Wiesbaden,
historic Mainz and the vineyards of the Rhine Valley.
Day 04 Frankfurt
Take a city tour that takes you through the main sights of this city including Sachsenhausen Old Centre and St. Pauls
Cathedral, a historical church located in the heart of Frankfurt. Consecrated in 1833, the building was once home to
Germany's first National Assembly. Also visit the Main Tower, Goethe House and Roemerberg, the central square in
Frankfurt's Altstadt (Old Town). Overnight in Frankfurt.
Day 05 Frankfurt – Berlin
Today you take a train from Frankfurt to Berlin (4.5 hours) and transfer to your hotel. After a fifty-year lull, Berlin is
back – back as the capital of a reunified Germany and back as one of Europe’s greatest cities. It has everything to offer
from authentic beer halls and old Soviet era haunts right through to buzzing style bars and Latino nightclubs. Overnight in
Berlin.
Day 06 Berlin
Enjoy a city tour of Berlin. Visit the Berlin Wall which separated the eastern and western part and was the symbol of the
Cold War. Also visit Checkpoint Charlie where a line of bricks traces the path where the Berlin Wall once stood. Visitors
will find a replica of the Checkpoint Charlie booth and sign at the original site. Explore the Zoo, Government Quarter,
Brandenburger Tor, Postdam Square, Kurfuerstendamm, East Side Gallery and Unter den Linden Square. Overnight in Berlin.
Day 07 End of the tour
Transfer to the airport to take your flight back home or make your way to the station for your onward journey.
