When?
The Best time to visit Thailand is from mid-October to March. In these months, there is very little rain. Please avoid travel in month of April.
How to Reach?
By Air: Bangkok is Thailand's major gateway. Most visitors arrive through Bangkok's Don Muang International Airport, which is connected by daily flights to Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Other international flights from Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong land on less regular basis at the southern airports of Phuket and Hat Yai and Chiang Mai in the north.
Visa
Thailand Visa is on arrival. Passport should be valid for 6 months upon arrival. Visa is valid for Maximum stay of 15days and its valid at Bangkok, Chiang Mai , Chiang Rai, Hat Yai , Krabi , Phuket , Samui Intl, sukhothai Intl, Surat Thani and Utapao Airports.
Currency
Thailand currency is called Baht. One Baht equals 100 satang. While the denomination of the notes varies from Bt10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000, the coins are in the denomination of Bt 10, 5 and 1, 50 and 25 satang. Coins are mostly made of silver and brass and may be of different sizes for the same value.
Bangkok
To put it simply, Bangkok can seem like a nightmare to those unfamiliar with the city. The sprawling expressways and overpasses, huge new Skytrain and crowded streets full of vendors give the place a distinct Blade Runneresque feel. Causing even further confusion is the lack of a true "center" to the city, with various districts scattered throughout town. On the positive side, the Skytrain has made it much easier to get around, and taxis, tuk-tuks, buses and motorcycle taxis are plentiful.
Wat Phra Chetuphon, or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha
this 200-year-old wat is Bangkok's largest. Bursting with history, its highlight is the fantastic gold-plated reclining Buddha, 46 meters long and 15 meters high, with mother of pearl inlaid feet, which themselves are three meters long.
Wat Phra Kaew
Wat Phra Kaew ("Temple of the Holy Jewel Image"), also spelled Wat Phra Kaeo and commonly known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is located on the ground of the Royal Palace in Bangkok. It is the most revered Buddhist shrine in Thailand. Central to the temple is the Emerald Buddha, a dark green statue standing about 2 feet tall.
Bangkok National Museum
Bangkok National Museum, the largest museum in South-East Asia, is a spectacular museum on Thai history and culture. The museum displays a stunning collection of objects including prehistoric art, murals and objects used by the royals. A vast collection of antiquities has been hosted in this museum.
Grand Palace
Grand Palace is a complex that houses some of the most magnificent buildings of Bangkok. Located on the eastern banks of the Chao Phraya River, the Grand Palace served as the palatial residence of the king of Thailand from the 18th century to the mid-20th century.

Ton Sai Water fall

Bang Pae Water fall
This water fall, located at Talang, is also called the site of the Gibbon Fund. This waterfall provides an ideal place for gibbons to survive naturally, as it has plenty of foliage and shady areas.
Khao Rang
This is an ideal hill, located in Phuket town, which provides locals and tourists with a nice view of the Phuket Town, the southern island, and part of the offshore islands. Around this amazing area, there are also quite a few restaurants. These provide you with brilliant views of the city.
Phuket Aquarium
This Aquarium, located at Panwa Cape, is another place well worth visiting. In total, this aquarium has more than a hundred different species of fish. Most of these are from the waters near Phuket.
Thalang National Museum
At Talang in Phuket this is an important place to visit because it reveals the history of this wonderful place. As an example, some of the items on display tell one about the well known Battle of Thalang that featured two important heroines.
Phi Phi Island
Phi Phi's beauty is a large chunk of the allure. The islands, when approached by boat, rise from the sea like a fortress. Sheer cliffs tower overhead, then give way to beach-fronted jungle. It's love at first sight.
James Bond Island
James Bond Island This is the reason why everyone goes on the James Bond Island tour. They want to stand on the beach in the same place as Christopher Lee and Roger Moore some 25 years ago. The approach to Khao Phing Kan island is crowded with long-tailed boats.
Koh Samui
Koh Samui is the third largest island of Thailand after Phuket and Koh Chang and one of the most popular destinations for travelers. The Big Buddha
Samui's most popular attraction, The Big Buddha sitting 15 meters tall was built in 1972 by the local society to give visitors a place to pay respect to The Lord Buddha. This monumental landmark is placed on the island's Northern shore.
Namuang Waterfall
Namuang Waterfall is located 10 km south from Nathon at Ban Thurian. There are 2 waterfalls. Na Muang one is 18 meter high and can be reached by vehicle.
Na Muang two is about 80 meters high and can only be reached by a 30 minute walk. The waterfalls are the most scenic on the island.
Hin Ta - Hin Yai - Strangely shaped rocks at south Lamai.
A local story tells of an old couple whose ship was wrecked in the bay. Their body's were washed ashore to create the rocks.
Sawadee Shrine
The Brahma of Sawadee is an important being a central image for reverence and faith.

Hin Lad Waterfall
Hin Lad Waterfall is located 2 km south of Nathon Town.He can be reached by a 3-4 kilometer walk down a country foot walk. In evergreen, rain forest setting with palms and creepers, the waterfall have several levels with a cool pool for a fresh water swim.
Magic Buddha Garden
The magic Buddha garden is hidden in the hills of Samui. You can see several statues, temples and waterfalls which are build by one man in the last 20 years.
Butterfly Gardenfarstone
Na Tian Butterfly Garden is situated at the bottom of the hill south of the island. Apart from the numerous species of butterflies on display, there are also other interesting features in the garden: The bee house, a Thai style house which allows the visitor to observe the activities of bees.
Chaweng
Chaweng is the most popular area with 6km of a white sandy beach and clear waters. As the sea is partly shallow most of the year it is the perfect place for families with small kids and all kind of water sports can be enjoyed.
Lamai
Lamai is the second largest tourist center. The beach is a little bit more rough and the water is deeper. It's an excellent location for swimming and has a well-known nightlife. Lamai can be discovered by walking as the area is not as large as Chaweng. Hinta Hinyai is at the southern end of Lamai and famous for its strangely shaped rock formations.
Krabi
Krabi Town is a functioning Thai town that's been around long before international tourists started to visit Krabi. It's charming, laid back, and as much as the word is overused, it's very local.
Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi-Phi National Park
This marine national park covers the coastal area and other off-shore islands within the district territory of Amphoe Muang. With white, clean stretches of beach and scenic coral reefs, it also offers numerous natural attractions such as the Hat Noppharat Thara beach, Hat Ao Nang beach, the Susan Hoi or Fossil Shell beach, the Phi-Phi island group and the Po Da island.
Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua)
This temple complex not only serves as a religious site for the monks who live and worship there, but also features a maze of natural caves in an overgrown jungle valley where stone tools, pottery remains and the mold for making Buddha footprints have been excavated.
Wat Klong Tom
This temple museum hosts a collection of ancient stones, bronze tools, coins, pottery, decorations and beads which are reputedly to be more than 500 years old.
Phra Nang Cave
This cave on the east side of the bay is famous for its wonderful stalactites and stalagmites. Since the old time up to the present day, Phra Nang Cave is where fishermen have made oblation to phallic symbol of Shiva, one of the trinity in Hindu theology before starting navigation in order to bless them with success and safety.
Tham Phi Hua To or Tham Hua Kalok
The cave is accessible by the same route as Tham Lod Tai with its entrance not far beyond the canel to Tham Lod Tai. From the entrance, the cave divides into 2 routes, the left one leading to a vast chamber pierced by a shaft of light, while the right
route leads to a hall believed by archaeologists to have been once a shelter for prehistoric people.
