Visa is required for Indian nationality.

Currency
The currency in Brazil is called the Real (plural: Reais). However, the name of the money was only adopted in 1994. This was because in the past Brazil had lots of different currency due to fluxes and changes in the economy.

Rio de Janeiro

Adorned with the title, cidade maravilhosa, which means a marvelous city, Rio de Janeiro is a city with majestic beauty. It is one of the most densely populated places on earth.

Statue of Christ
It’s frequently said that God is brazilian. The real truth is unknown, but at least a piece of him is in the Rio de Janeiro statue, christ the redeemer, or in portugese, Christ o Redentor. Towering above the marvelous city with open arms for, giving it forever a permanent hug. From one hand to the other, measuring almost 30 meters.

Sugar Loaf (Pao de Acucar)
The hill 396m above Rio is a must-see. There are two cable cars bringing you to the top. They leave every half-hour from Praca General Tiburcio at Praia Vermelha in Urca. To get to Urca, catch a bus number 107 from the Centre or bus number 500, 511 or 512 from the Zona Sul.

Parque Lage
The "Parque Enrique Lage" is a public park in the southern zone (Zona Sul)of Rio de Janeiro, located in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood beside the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, directly at the foot of the Corcovado mountain with the Cristo Redentor statue on its top.

Rio Carnival
Everyone has heard of the Rio Carnival - it's the benchmark against which every other carnival is compared. A spirit and energy takes over the city and has everyone enraptured for four days of infectious rhythmic shuffling and unbeatable revelry. Rio Carnival is the result of months of preparation. Foreign visitors alone number around 300,000 every year, and the parading samba schools are continuous streams of colour, motion and rhythm. Some have members running into thousands, with as many as 30 floats each and hundreds of drummers. The synchronised steps, swirls and rhythms are faultless. 


Brasilia

Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, is one of the world's most ruthless and planned cities. It officially became the capital in 1960. Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer designed the major official buildings. 

Gruta de Terra Ronca 
A worthwhile sidetrip while in Brasilia, would be traveling to the cave at Terra Ronca, and also a recently discovered one called Angelica-Bezerra. It is about 250 miles from Brasilia in the Municipality of Sao Domingo in the State of Goias. The cavern with its lake in front is wonderful as well as the views from the inside.

Cathderal
The Cathedral is one of the architectural splendors of this world. It is one of the marvels of the famous Oscar Niemeyer. As recognized as much as the congresso nacional with its cerealbowls. It has wonderful inside glassworks that will be of enjoyment for all.

Chapada dos Veadeiros-National Park
Chapada dos Veadeiros is a National Park located about 150 miles adjacent to the vila of Sao Jorge, in the State of Goias. It is abundant of fauna and flora and has a peaceful surroundings. There are several waterfalls, canyons and beauty everywhere. Well worth the sidetrip while in Brasilia.

Memorial JK
At Memorial JK (Juscelino Kubitschek), located at Praca do Cruzeiro is present a beautiful plaque honoring President Kubitschek, who was President of Brazil during Brasilia's moments of glory.


Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo is South America's largest city and an intimidating place. The industrial growth and cultural variety of the city have made this place home to several well-cultured and well-educated people of the country.

Parque do Ibirapuera 
Important green area located in Sao Paulos city southern zone, in an area of 1,6 million m². Ibirapuera is more than a park, because it has museums, planetarium, Japanese Pavilion, Biennial Pavilion, Sports Coliseum, Cribs Museum, Modern Art Museum, Aeronautics and Folklore Museums, the Obelisco, the Flags Monument, Cooper hints, sport courts, cycling street. In the park live more than a hundred birds species, also it has lakes, aquariums, sources, plants nursery, herbarium and orchidarium.

Julio Prestes Station 
Railway station located in the Julio Prestes Square and it is headquarters of the Sao Paulo's State Symphonic Orchestra. The Grande Hall has similar proportions with international concerts hall. Near to Luz Metro station.
