Argentina is the land of ample natural assets and hence a favorite destination for all the travelers who are the priests of beauty. And to add with this, the rich cultural heritage of this South American country has made it a destination for all.   

When?

How to Reach
Ushuaia is a key access point to the southern regions; it receives regular flights from Buenos Aires at Ushuaia International Airport. The city itself is a popular vacation spot for Buenos Aires. Flights are also available from Santiago, Chile.

Visa
A visa is required for travelling to Argentina except for Americans, UK nationals, South Africans, New Zealanders and the Irish, who require only a passport.

Currency
Argentina currency is known as 'Peso' which is further subdivided into 100 cents. The peso coins come in the denominations of 1 cent, 5 cents, 10 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents and 1 peso coins. There are two versions of 5, 10, 25 and 50 cent coins available; they can be silver or golden plated.

El Calafate

El Calafate is located at the base of Calafate Hill on the shore of Argentino Lake, 315 km from Río Gallegos, the capital of the Provincia of Santa Cruz. The doubled pitched roofs of the houses, the colorful vegetation - rose bushes and a great variety of flowers and trees - mildly blend in this charming tourist town of 8,000 inhabitants, whose friendly attitude make tourist feel at home.

Perito Moreno Glacier
The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Los Glaciares National Park in the southwestern part of Santa Cruz province, Argentina. When it snows high in the Patagonian Andes, the snow and ice does not melt. Rather, it accumulates, forming the massive South Patagonian Icefield, a glacier system that straddles Argentina and Chile. 


Buenos Aires

The province of Buenos Aires is composed by the city of Buenos Aires; it represents the 40% of the territory of Argentina; its capital is La Plata. It is bordered by Entre Rios Santa Fé and Córdova to the north, by the city of Buenos Aires to the east and by La Pampa and Rio Negro to the west. 

Plaza De Mayo 
The Plaza de Mayo is the most important part of the city, because most of the important institucional, political and economic decisions are made there. From there you will be able to see the typical and well- know places like, La Casa Rosada, El Cabildo, the port, bancksm the tradicional balcony, and many others. 
The Plaza de Mayo is next to San Telmo.

Puerto Madero 
Puerto Madero is distinguished significantly for its close location to the center of Buenos Aires, the extensive area and its connection with the ribereño step. It is a place which combines the Rio Plata typical nature with the urbanism of the most alive city in Latin America.

Obelisco 
The Obelisco is the architectonic and characteristic piece of the city of Buenos Aires. It is located right in the center of the city, the exact location is in the intersection of avenues, 9 of Julio and Corrientes. One of the main characteristic is that it has 67 meters high. The Obelisco is an historical monument of the city, because in each one of his faces it is recorded a historical review.

Casa Rosada Or Goverment House
The Museum of the La Casa Rosada it has as main objective the ´ to show and to disclose the historical antecedents of the National Government and the work of the governors after a smaller term of thirty years concluded its mandato ´ this is the main mission that the museum has.


Ushuaia

Ushuaia is the capital of the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego, and claims to be the world's southernmost city.

Tierra del Fuego National Park
Tierra del Fuego National Park is the farthest south protected region of Argentina and the only national park that possesses maritime coasts, embracing a strip of land 6 km (3.75 mi) wide over the Beagle Channel. It was founded in 1960 and has a surface area of 63,000 hectares (151,200 acres).

Museum of Yamana
The Yamana people were the original inhabitants of the Ushuaia region. The ran around naked except for a loincloth. To keep the cold away they smeared themselves with fat from penguins. They eat penguins, mussels, and sea lions. The museum itself explains in detail how they lived and how they died off. There is only one original left. It is worth going if you are interested to know about the Yamana people.
